Some Sobering Facts about the Orthodox Church in North America

The Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops in North and Central America Research Coordinator Alexei Krindatch has released a new 40-page report titled “Five Interesting Facts About Orthodox Church Geography and Demography in the United States.”

The report, though lengthy, contains many helpful graphics that offer a sobering portrait of the Orthodox Church in America. Canada is not included, but one can presume a similar, though much smaller, reality here.

On the whole, this is an excellent resource that should offer us a dose of humility. The report may be found here.
